The highest mountain in Styria – and one of the most striking peaks in the Alps – stands right before your eyes. Attractions such as the Dachstein Suspension Bridge, the Skywalk, the Ice Palace, and the Stairway to Nothingness make your mountain experience even more thrilling.
Breathtaking moments and exhilarating views are guaranteed. Even the ride with the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car, including the gondola balcony, is an unforgettable experience in itself.

Fun for the Little Ones Right Outside Our House
Right in front of our house, we have a small play area with a trampoline, sandbox, plenty of tractors, and our little “Villa Kunterbunt.”
Children can also enjoy being surrounded by our friendly animals: ponies (Yakari & Maja), rabbits, alpacas (Sahara, Thiago, Evito), and our flock of chickens, responsible for the fresh eggs at breakfast.

Our 8 marked running and Nordic walking routes offer something for everyone – from 500 m to the classic marathon distance of 42 km (over 1,000 m elevation gain), with a wide variety of options in between.
Mountainbikeing
Cycling Adventures in Ramsau:
Whether it’s a leisurely bike ride with the family on the Ramsau Plateau or a more challenging tour in the alpine region on a mountain bike or e-bike, there’s something for everyone!
The region offers 20 marked cycling routes, including the classic “Alpine Tour” and the “Dachstein Circuit”, winding through the beautiful Ramsau landscape.
A network of e-bike rental stations and battery exchange points, along with a dedicated e-bike trail system, has been established in the Filzmoos-Ramsau-Schladming region, making it easier than ever to explore on two wheels.
Die Bergretter
This year, the TV series “Die Bergretter” is being filmed in Ramsau for the 11th time. Many of the filming locations can be visited, and sometimes you might even catch a glimpse of the crew in action!
During filming, the two lead actors, Martin Gruber and later Sebastian Ströbel, stayed with us in Apartment Luft.

Exciting Climbing Adventures for Kids and Teens
As a special attraction, the Kali Kids’ Via Ferrata and the Kala Youth Via Ferrata have been built in Ramsau. Safely secured for children, the route leads from the old Ramsau grain mill up to the Children’s Mountain Peak.
New this year: the Heidi Youth Via Ferrata!
The Children’s Educational Trail (suitable for strollers) is not only fun and interesting for kids – parents and grandparents will also be amazed by the experience.

Fun and Adventure for the Whole Family
The large recreational complex with a swimming lake, diving tower, beach volleyball, playground, archery, sliding soccer, and more, will make every child’s heart beat faster – and adults will have fun too!
With the Forestpark climbing course and the thrilling Rittisberg Coaster summer toboggan run, Ramsau offers a unique adrenaline rush for both young and old.
A Hidden Gem for True Enjoyers!
Sunrise Breakfast on the Dachstein! Take the cable car to the Dachstein Glacier before sunrise (around 5 a.m.) and enjoy your breakfast as the first rays of the sun illuminate the mountain peaks.
